TOM FERRY - Director

Award winning stylist and LORD co-founder, Tom Ferry, has been in the industry since 1999. (We know! can’t believe it either, he looks so young etc etc.) Choosing to concentrate solely on cutting and styling, he’s honed his talent and is extremely passionate. Academy trained in London by Toni & Guy, Tom is always at the pinnacle of cutting edge design for both ladies and men’s hair.

Toms hyper-fixation means he excels working with bobs, pixies and sharp lines and will ALWAYS have a new hobby to discuss with you. Over the years, Tom’s work has been featured in hair magazines and adverts and is always praised for his personalisation of each haircut. Outside of the salon Tom’s interests include good food, Golf and his Ragdoll Cats.

JAMIE-JOHN HOLDER - Director

Co-founder Jamie has been working in hair salons since he was 14 years old. Trained as a master colour artist at Goldwell House in London, he then continued his training into Wella and finally settled as a L’Oreal Professional ambassador. He LOVES bleach, but works with all aspects of technical hairdressing including natural hair extensions and specialises in hair loss solutions. Jamie has styled for multiple campaigns, worked London Fashion Week and been featured in magazines including Marie Claire and Vogue. Jamie has furthered his education by training with Sophia Hilton as a bleach specialist and favours bright blondes, icy tones, and anything Scandinavian. When not behind the chair he can be found practising yoga, lost in the woods, or drinking Red wine!

JESS HAMMOND

Jess began her hairdressing career in France by winning Apprentice of the year award at age 16. After 8 years and gaining both her level 2 and 3 qualifications, Jess furthered her training with an 18 month stint in Australian salons before coming home to England. Jess’s hairdressing is everything you’d expect of French chic! Beautifully soft highlights, subtle babylights and elegant styling. Jess loves shorter hair and classic shape cuts. A great listener with a gentle approach, making her an excellent choice for new and nervous clients.

In her spare time Jess is a bit of an exercise and adrenaline junkie, having taken part in tough mudder races and states the best thing she has ever done is sky diving! Like all of us at LORD, Jess is a great lover of good food.

JEMMA GRAHAM

Cool, calm and colour obsessed; we welcomed Jemma to our team in 2022 with over a decade of experience under her belt. Jemma was just fourteen when she started working in her first salon. After qualifying she furthered her education in classic mens barbering, before heading off to dance her way around Australia and continue her career in Sydney. Jemma is extremely comfortable working with short precision haircuts and by her own admission “loves every type of blonde”. Highlights, balayage, bleaching- whatever your preference you’ll be in very safe hands.

Jem loves a wine, a wholesome day out and a good city break. If she didn’t have to work, Jemma would likely follow Shania Twain around the world on tour living her best life.

RENATA FEKETE

Originally from Transylvania, Renata joined our team in 2022 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from hair shows and fashion events. Renata has a brilliant enthusiasm for all aspects of hairdressing including Balayage, rich brunettes and precise cutting. Renata holds the very prestigious L’oreal Professional Colour Specialist degree and is recognised as part of an elite group of graduates here in the UK with an unparalleled colour knowledge. Since working with us, Renata has become very well known for her long hair Balayage styles! She is gregarious, fun and happy. Although quiet and focused when in the zone, Renata has every bit of the European directness you’d expect!

DAWN ROBINSON

Dawn Robinson is a true professional who has clocked up an impressive twenty (something) years behind the chair! A regular in the world of Redken, she’s a true brand ambassador and her product knowledge is second to none. Dawn focuses on both cutting and colouring to create a complete client image. She frequently attends seminars to ensure her knowledge and skill set are at the forefront of salon life. Dawn works creatively to keep clients’ looks current, by staying up-to-date with emerging trends from the world of hair, fashion and make-up artistry. It’s her combination of knowledge and sheer passion that makes Dawn an incredible asset to LORD.

PAMMY BARRETT

Having won apprentice of the year in 2004, Pammy still holds her crown and between appointments is rarely seen without a broom in her hand and a smile on her face! Pammy works with all aspects of hairdressing including Extensions, bridal hair and braiding. Joining our team in 2018, Pam excels in her colour work! She could highlight all day long without missing a beat, makes light work of full head bleaching and very proudly carries the renowned Redken certificate of hair colour mastery. Her approach is gentle and her blowdries are big, bouncy and beautiful.

In her spare time Pammy enjoys history, Paddle boarding and spending plenty of time with her lovely family.

ALEX SCHURIG

Hairdresser and make-up artist, Alexandra is a dream when it comes to blonde balayage, soft colours and classic highlights. Hailing from Germany Alex left her country life and horses behind to start a new chapter here in England with her family; and boy are we glad! We were lucky enough to add her to our team in 2020, but that’s not where the story started. Alex has been working in salons in fashion forward Stuttgart since 2003 and has accrued an impressive knowledge over the years. Alex keeps a keen eye on European hair trends, has built a specialism in tape-in hair extensions and brings with her a style of her own! Outside of the Salon Alex is a keen equestrian and enjoys plenty of horsing around with her daughter.

OLI LEGGETT

Oli has a very fervent opinion on hairdressing: “hair should be beautiful, natural and wearable every day. Not just for magazines or a catwalk!” With this in mind, Oli chooses to specialise in cutting and is particularly passionate about classic mens cuts, shorter textures and curly/wavy hair. Using thorough consultation to ascertain desired look and lifestyle, Oli will work as closely as possible with your natural texture to create a bespoke look that is unique to you. He has worked both in salons and freelance, spending many years of his hairdressing career educating for L’oreal in the field of cutting before coming home to settle at LORD. Aside from hairdressing, Oli’s interests are Architecture, property and my goodness does that boy love FOOD!

BROOKE LAWSON

Brooke is our salon sweetheart! If you are at all nervous of visiting the salon or changing your style, her gentle and caring way will soon put you at ease. Happy to work through in-depth consultations to ascertain what you’re really looking for, she will put her expert knowledge to brilliant use and deliver on the brief. A confident hairdresser, having worked in salons since 2009, Brooke is measured and concise. There is no rushing and we always joke you wouldn’t want to have a train to catch! Rich, glossy brunettes and classic highlights are her forte. When she isn’t hairdressing, Brooke loves her family time, arts and crafts and would you believe; Pyrography! (Look it up).
